Jennifer Perez, BS, NASM CPT, NASM Nutrition Specialist, ACE GF, W.I.T.S. Educator
Jennifer has been in the fitness industry for over 25 years as a nationally certified group fitness instructor and personal trainer presenting multiple formats and training clients internationally. She is currently the owner of Perez Personal Training and teaches the W.I.T.S. Personal Training certification course at Sonoma State University and San Francisco State University. She is a NASM mentor and a PANC (Parkinsons Association of Northern California) trainer. Her certifications include the American Counsel on Exercise, the National Academy of Sports Medicine nutrition specialist and personal trainer as well as Pilates, Zumba, TRX and Les Mills.
Jennifer's extensive background in health and fitness includes National Aerobic Competitor, international competitive dance teams, 22 years of health club management, fitness presenter, and trainer for instructors and private clients. She brings her clients an extensive background in physical therapy, Pilates Reformer, Pilates Mat, senior fitness, youth personal training and coaching, nutrition, anatomy, physiology and dance.
She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. “I have learned that I can best serve my clients by teaching them how to achieve optimal health through a balanced lifestyle. I believe that functional training translates into the enduring strength we need for the activities of our day-to-day lives.”

Ruth Taylor, BA, AFAA CPT
Ruth is a certified personal trainer through AFAA and SCW Fitness as well as a certified group fitness instructor. She holds an Associate of Arts Degree in Fitness, Nutrition and Health from Santa Rosa Junior College.
Her training style is centered on each client; she specializes in creating exercise programs based on their needs and preferences.
She welcomes and trains all age groups, body types, special populations and athletes. She also focuses on functional training by working with the clients balance, agility, flexibility and posture while focusing on proper form.
In her free time Ruth enjoys working out, participating in other group exercise classes, running, hiking, listening to music, dancing, gardening and hanging out with her friends and family. Ruth's philosophy in life is to broaden your horizons and always explore new adventures.

Marta Kaltreider, BA, NASM CPT, Certified Tabata GX
A world traveler and entrepreneur, Marta brings to Perez Personal Training a wealth of creativity, a passion for wellness and a natural instinct for successfully coaching you towards achieving your fitness goals.
Certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a personal trainer and a specialist in Tabata GX, Marta was inspired to become a certified trainer by observing many around her struggling with balancing the need to fulfill their fitness needs with their inherent fear of exercising. This led her to create a fun, accessible, convenient and effective training initiative for parents at her children’s school: The “10 Week Wellness and Fitness Challenge Fundraiser”. This initiative, continues to support many in their quest to establish healthy habits to live happier and healthier lives. As a trainer at Perez Personal Training, Marta endeavors to personally work with you so you too can fulfill your fitness desires and conquer your exercising fears.

Steven Moore, NASM CPT
Steven is an NASM certified personal trainer with a lifelong passion for physical fitness, health, and wellness. He is focused on setting high standards, yet attainable goals, with custom tailored exercise programs that meet each individual clients physical abilities. He is friendly, energetic, and highly motivated to help his clients achieve success in their physical fitness pursuits. He is a seasoned leader, equipped with the knowledge, compassion, and confidence, to effectively motivate and communicate with a wide variety of different client and personality types.
Steven is an avid outdoor sports enthusiast. On a sunny day, you can usually find him on his bike, in his kayak, or hiking on the side of a mountain. He is very close with his family, and enjoys any quality time he gets to spend with them. Some of his favorite indoor activities include board games, especially trivia, and movie nights with friends. He believes in the power of positive energy and optimism, and thinks these are two incredibly key components of a healthy, and ultimately happy life.

Layne Scoggins, ACE Certified Personal Trainer, TRX
Layne is certified through the American Council on Exercise and has been in the fitness industry for over 10 years. He has expanded his expertise with Kaiser Spin and TRX certifications.
Layne has been an exercise enthusiast for as long as he can remember. Golf, baseball, triathlon, tennis-you name he’s played it. “Your body is the most important tool you’ll ever own, you’ll have it all your life. You should take care of it as best you can” Layne is great with seniors working on balance, flexibility and strength training as well as pre and post surgery training.
Bryan Vasquez, NASM Certified Personal Trainer
Bryan has been a part of the fitness industry for 12 years. From participating in flag football, basketball, and other physical extracurriculars in high school to training 6x times a week regularly in the gym his curiosity and passion for fitness and health grew (while initially inspired by his fathers bodybuilding pursuit). He is certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and has an emphasis of knowledge around anatomy, physiology, and exercise science.
Bryan is primarily a plant-based athlete and understands how to help a client set and reach their goals on a realistic timeline customized around their lifestyle. Whether it’s to condition a client for a healthier lifestyle or change the body composition of an individual to make them feel more confident, he creates workout guides and programs that can get you there safely and effectively.
